FAQ
Q: Why doesn't TDS drop after filtration?
A: TDS is not a professional method for measuring water quality. TDS stands for total dissolved solids. If, for example, you add a small amount of salt (NaCl) to water and measure the TDS level, you will find that the result is significantly too high. The same applies if your water is rich in minerals; in this case, too, the TDS level will be very high. The TS99 system does not remove minerals from water, only harmful contaminants such as heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium) and over 90% of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and cysts. It also removes a large portion of chlorine (99%) from the water. Therefore, the measured TDS level is not as low as expected.
Q: Why is water leaking between the mounting base and the faucet?
A: Remove the filter system from the faucet and check that the O-ring on the connection is properly seated. Make sure the thread between the faucet and the filter system is tight so the O-ring can function properly.
Q: Why does the water drip or trickle?
A: Check that the selected adapter is correct and that the adapter and base sealing rings are tight. Check that the spout (F) and stainless steel base (G) are correctly installed. Rinse the filter for 5-10 minutes to activate it. Afterward, no more water will leak or drip.
