FAQ

What is the material used for the faucet? Do you have a black faucet available to match with my sink?

The faucet that comes with the RO unit is made of stainless steel with a brushed nickel finish. If you want a black faucet, we have matt black faucet available.

Can the system be hooked up to the refrigerator?

Yes, the unit can be hooked up to your refrigerator/ice-maker by using the Frizzlife IMC-1 kit. Please kindly note, if the distance between the filter and the appliance exceeded 15 ft, you might need a mini tank to boost up the water pressure. The mini tank will be available soon!

What are the dimensions of the box that goes under the counter? In a motorhome, every inch counts.

The dimension of the PD400 machine are: 15.5(length)*5.3(width)*14.7(height) inch.

Why is TDS higher at the beginning, but back to normal range after about one minute?

Osmosis is a natural phenomenon happens in all RO system, no matter if you have a conventional RO system or tankless RO system. When the RO system starts to work, pressure from the pump overcomes natural osmotic pressure, forcing feed water through the RO membrane that removes the impurities. When the RO system stops working, the pump stops offering pressure as well. At that time, because of different concentrations, a small fraction of ions will enter into pure water and cause TDS to rise by a small amount. However, even if the TDS reading is a little high at the beginning, the quality water is still unbeatable by any other filtration methods including carbon, KDF, ceramic, UF, UV, etc.. The water is totally good to drink and you don’ t have to wait for about 1 minute to get the water, since the whole system will not release any harmful substances to the water. The TDS removing rate for PD400 is about 94-95%, if your incoming TDS is high, the outlet TDS will be high too.
